Christin Magdu is a screenwriter and author with a passion for drama comedy, the place where laughter and heartbreak meet. With a background as an actress on stage, film, and TV, as well as work as a stuntwoman and movie critic, Christin brings a unique, cinematic perspective to everything she writes.

After years in front of the camera, she followed her true calling and became a full-time screenwriter. Her scripts span multiple genres but always carry her trademark mix of warmth, wit, and emotional depth.

In 2021, Christin co-authored the book Alexa with Margaux Dietz. Now, she’s set to make her solo debut as a novelist with MISS FORTUNE (November 2025)—a sharp, warm, and laugh-out-loud romantic comedy about the lies we tell others and the truths we must dare to tell ourselves.

When asked about the difference between writing for the screen and the page, Christin says:
“A screenplay is a blueprint, part of a big collaboration where every scene, every line, is shaped by directors, actors, and budgets. A novel is the opposite: it’s complete creative freedom. I get to be director, set designer, and have a direct line into my characters’ thoughts and dreams. The story can go anywhere, because in a novel, there are no limits.”
