Lotta Fritzdorf and Johan Rosenlind live and work by the sea in Haverdal, in southern Sweden. They love and breathe the landscape they call home and often weave it into their writing, sometimes subtly, sometimes more explicitly. With a constant flow of ideas for thrillers and dramas, combined with a deep knowledge of historical events and a keen eye for contemporary trends, they create a compelling foundation for storytelling and they have multiple projects at the same time. Their new series, Ros & Garp (2026) features distinctive, character-driven leads, firmly rooted in the beloved tradition of mismatched investigative duos, characters readers will love, occasionally be frustrated by, and above all, always root for.
Johan Rosenlind has a background in the restaurant world and the art scene, while Lotta Fritzdorf has had a long academic career. Following the blockbuster success of the SVT television series The Restaurant (Vår tid är nu), based on an original idea by Johan, the couple decided to dedicate themselves fully to writing. The results came quickly: from their pens have come novels, thrillers, cookbooks, and several film projects.
They debuted with the nerv wrecking thrillers Tick Tick Boom and Frontman in 2019. The two cook books with recipes from the tv-series The Restaurant won the Gourmand International Awards, category TV Celebrity Chef , two years in a row.
