Felicia Welander, 1973, debuted with the novel Tomorrow, Maybe in 2015 and has since written several novels in the feelgood and general fiction genres. She holds an MA in Linguistics from Stockholm University and Keele University. Alongside her own writing, she works as a creative writing teacher and has been awarded a residency grant at the Bergman Estates as well as a working grant from Region Gävleborg. Felicia Welander lives and works in Stockholm and Bollnäs.
Felicia has been writing for as long as she can remember and worked as a writer and copywriter for nearly twenty years before debuting. Felicia has since written several book series, both contemporary and historical. She has also been part of the Storytel Writers Room and contributed to several audiobook productions.
Felicia has a particular interest in the 1850s, and her historical novel Lights in December was the start of a new stage of her career. She is currently working on a series set during the same decade and in the present day.
