Christin Magdu is a screenwriter and author and has written several tv-series, storylines, episodical tv and featured films. She debuted co-authoring the book Alexa, with Margaux Dietz in 2021. In 2025 she made her solo debut as a novelist with Miss Fortune, a sparkling romantic comedy about self-discovery, second chances, and finding love in the most unexpected of places. 

With a diverse background as an actress, stuntwoman, and film critic, Christin Magdu brings a unique cinematic perspective to her writing. This experience ultimately led her to her true passion of becoming a full-time screenwriter, and while her scripts span multiple genres, they are all infused with her trademark blend of warmth, wit, and emotional depth, with a passion for dramedy, the space where laughter and heartbreak meet.

On the difference between writing for the screen and the page, Christin reflects:

“A screenplay is a blueprint for a larger collaboration—every scene and line is ultimately shaped by directors, actors, and budgets. A novel is the opposite. It’s total creative freedom. I get to be the director, the set designer, and have a direct line into my characters’ innermost thoughts and dreams. The story can go anywhere because, in a novel, there are no limits.”
