PONTUS LINDEBORG

Pontus Lindeborg is a sharp, up-and-coming genre-driven screenwriter with a distinct voice and an eye for edgy offbeat human stories. His work often explores the tension between the absurd and the deeply human, guided by a clear philosophy: while he holds great respect for stories that aims to intellectualize or provoke, his own primary ambition is to create stories that hit you in the gut. With his perspective and voice, Pontus is a talent meant to make a significant mark in the industry.

Raised on a farm outside a small industrial town, Pontus brings a perspective rarely seen in urban-centric storytelling. Though he didn’t become the fourth-generation farmer he was once destined to be, the rural landscape remains close to his heart and continues to shape his writing, where place and character are tightly intertwined.

Even as an emerging talent, Pontus has already worked across both television and film, including as an episode writer on End of Summer (Harmonica Films, 2024) and as script editor on the upcoming series Till Death Do Us Part (Harmonica Films, 2026). He has also written and directed the short films BRÖL! (2020) and Made Invisible (2018).

In addition to his narrative work, Pontus has been recognized in the commercial space, receiving a nomination at the Swedish Design Award in 2020 for a project with Kola Productions. He is now open to new collaborations across film and television.
