Walpurgis Night in Halmstad. The flames from the bonfire drift across the river Nissan, their glow reflected in the dark water below as Detective Chief Inspector Ragnar Ros and Detective Inspector Siri “Garp” Karlsson stand on Garp’s terrace, watching the city shimmer in the spring night.
