Ana’s greatest passion is storytelling and she is driven by a curiosity about people´s inner selves. She writes novels based on real life stories where the characters not only portray themselves but also dramatizing their time in history.

Ana began writing when she heard of a relative who was sentenced to death in 1845 and Ana did extensive research on women’s struggle for equality and on a single woman’s emigration to America. The result of the massive research was the Patriarchy trilogy, three historical novels that takes place between the years 1813 and 1960 and is based on a true family history.

Ana Porss lives in Stockholm, has studied writing at Lund University and has been a teacher in German and Swedish language for many years. Since 2021 she is a full-time author. We are happy to welcome Ana to Grand Agency!
