New screenwriter
Welcome to Grand: Aida Wondimu! We are proud and happy to announce that that we have started representing the talented and promising screenwriter Aida Wondimu.
Aida’s career began at UR, where she worked as an editor on the channel Tänk till. There, she created the format “Saker du aldrig vågat fråga”, which earned her a Kristallen nomination for Best Innovator in 2021. After UR, she went on to study screenwriting at SKH, where she wrote an episode of the hit series Solsidan as a school assignment. The script impressed the producers, who ended up hiring Aida to write on the actual show.
Aida specializes in stories that mix comedy and drama, where she turns her character’s hardships into heartfelt, funny and relatable moments. She is currently studying screenwriting at Alma Löv, where she is developing her own ideas, while at the same time working as a dramaturg and in writer rooms on several comedy series.
