It is the book about Valdemar Aurelius, guardian, and hunter of beings. All the old Norse fairytales and myths are true, and its creatures and beings live among us, just outside of our vision field, in and around Sweden’s beautiful churches. Valdemar keeps track of them. Now, Valdemar has to face evil on two sides: not only is he certain that something big is about to happen in the paranormal world parallel to ours – he is also diagnosed with cancer.
