Prix Polar Noir to Anki Edvinsson

We are proud to announce that Anki Edvinsson has been awarded the highly prestigious Prix Polar Noir International Cognac, presented in connection with the literary festival Polar Cognac.

The prize has been awarded at the festival since 1982 and is regarded as one of the most distinguished honors in France for crime writers. Only two Swedish authors have previously received the award.

In connection with the award ceremony the newspaper Sud Ouest writes: “The prize for Best International Novel went to the Swedish author Anki Edvinsson for The Snow Angel (Black Lab Editions). Connoisseurs describe her as “the rising star of Nordic crime fiction.”
