Siri Pettersen’s Raven Rings prize

Two years ago, Siri Pettersen founded The Raven Rings Prize, with the purpose to boost the Norwegian Fantasy scene. Last week, this year’s winner was announced.

The winner is selected because they have shown great promise and drive in creating Fantasy literature, and this year, her name is Cathrine Natalie Wandrup, who was awarded with 50 000 NOK.

For Siri, this award means a lot, and the prize money is something she hopes will help the winners to be able to fully commit to writing for a while. She created The Raven Ring Prize to give back to the community and scene that have meant so much for her, both as a person and writer.
