Are you our new intern?

Grand Agency is a leading independent literature and film agency representing writers from Sweden and the other Scandinavian/Nordic countries. Now, we are looking for an intern!

We are a team of six employees that all love books, films, tv-series, theatre, radio… you name it! We work closely with our writers as well as with publishers and production companies all over the world. This internship is perfect for anyone who wants to learn more about the industry, and someone who wants the chance to take big responsibility.

Example of tasks

• Plan and create content for various channels; website, social media, newsletters.
• Assist in designing graphic materials such as sales catalogues.
• Help with our intake: read books and scripts from writer’s that apply to us.
• Map out book publishers and film producers in different markets for sales pitches.
• Assist in preparations for book fairs and film festivals.
• General office assistance.

What are we looking for?

• Someone that studies for a bachelor’s degree with a focus on media communication, publisher’s knowledge, literature, film, journalism, project management, or similar.
• Possess good language skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. A third language is advantageous but not required.
• Someone with basic knowledge about InDesign/Photoshop.
• Understands digital communication and is accustomed to and/or enjoys using social media.
• Enjoys varied tasks and a job where no two days are the same.
• Is creative, meticulous, curious, flexible, and comfortable with pitching in where it is needed.

Other information

This internship does not come with a salary, so we are looking for someone who is currently studying at university, who can make the internship as a part of their education. Our office is at Vanadisvägen 41 in Stockholm.
