CLAN (KLAN)

Emmy Walt

Summer is here, and Mila, Marcus, and the children are finally set to enjoy their long-awaited vacation on the Island of Gotland. After last year’s terrible events the family has been reunited.

It’s Almedalen Week, and the island buzzes with activity, teeming with people everywhere. But behind the façade of the idyllic setting, darkness is growing. Someone is burning crosses in the nights and xenophobic groups are organizing threatening demonstrations. Mila cannot suppress her journalistic instincts and finds herself drawn into something far more dangerous than political protests.

Clan is the second installment in the series about the unconventional and courageous journalist Mila Savic, who is pulled from a peaceful family life straight into a world of chaos and polarization. The first part, Despair (2023), was praised by critics and nominated for Debutant of the Year at Crimetime Award.
