Reply All: Dispatches from Reception
Bianca Kronlöf

Sigmund is working his first day at the local health center. His mother actually works there too… Veronika is on the verge of losing her mind from being stuck at home with a baby, and Robin is just trying not to break the Hippocratic oath.
The clinic’s operations are hanging by a thread as high and low, sick and healthy, all mix together in the waiting room. In his ambition to make up for past mistakes and become a sharper receptionist, and eventually a better version of himself, Sigmund decides to send out an informational email to make daily routines easier for the dozen or so people working at the clinic.
Instead, he accidentally sends it to everyone on the address list, meaning everyone employed in the entire region. The result is not just a gigantic group email, but a a flood of messages. He created an unstoppable avalanche.
Reply All: Dispatches from Reception arrives like a letter in the mail, uncensored, bold, hilarious, unexpected, and painfully embarrassing.
A sharp piece of contemporary satire in words and images about the species and subspecies of Swedish healthcare, written by author, comedian, and actor Bianca Kronlöf.

REVIEWS
“Bianca Kronlöf pushes everything to the limit with a razor-sharp portrayal of healthcare workers struggling under impossible conditions. It’s a tribute to all those who actually take care of us. It’s outrageously funny, but amid all the laughter are the budget cuts, the shortages, the patients who fall through the cracks, and the staff working themselves to pieces. The laughter catches in your throat.”
Lena Richardson, Nya Wermlands-Tidningen / SWE
“A terribly funny novel, with emphasis on terrible.”
Kenneth Gysing, Femina / SWE
“An impressively constructed novel. Bianca Kronlöf draws the reader into the story, creating a playful atmosphere and a sense that anything can happen. Reply All: Dispatches from Reception is an engaging and well-written, almost poetic, novel that first makes you laugh at the state of Swedish healthcare and then makes you cry.”
Virve Ivarsson, Upsala Nya Tidning / SWE
“Bianca Kronlöf has written a humorous depiction of a serious issue. It’s about a broken healthcare system and the people trying to survive within it. The story is told with the same quick-witted and creative language Kronlöf is known for in her other work, featuring playful interactive moments where the reader is addressed directly through surveys. Reply All: Dispatches from Reception is a sharp and funny novel that teeters on the edge of madness.”
Camilla Bergvall, BTJ / SWE
