A very warm welcome to Joakim Granberg – new Screenwriter at Grand Agency!
Some call him the reincarnation of Billy Wilder and Woody Allen, with just a splash of Sophocles. That may all be true. We just call him a skilled screenwriter.
After being cut out of the David Fincher movie The Girl with the Dragon tattoo, Joakim Granberg realized his dramatic skills was better used in writing, rather than acting. Since then, he has established himself as a comedic voice in television drama. Joakim uses the ups and downs of his own life in making painful comedy and relatable drama. He has written many tv-series for SVT and is currently working on a feature film and a number of tv-projects.
When not writing his own material, he has been working writer’s rooms at several production companies, and as a script editor on more projects than he cares to count. At the moment he holds a position as an in-house script editor at SVT.
