It all begins with Musse having a nightmare about ghosts, and Tove having a nightmare about The Groke from the Moomin stories.
The next day Tove, Charlie, Musse, Johanna and Oliver get summoned by Engelbrekt in the middle of class. A ghost has appeared in the school basement. All those hugged by THE GROKE GHOST turn into ice. Suddenly, the children have a lot on their plate. They have to stop people from entering the basement. And those who get hugged by THE GROKE GHOST must be unfrozen quickly, otherwise they die. The most important question they need to solve is: how do you overthrow a ghost?
