Three completely different fates are woven together in Anna Karolina’s and Andreas Ek’s crime novel in the the D-Phalanx series – New Order.

A woman is shot to death outside a building in Malmö. The tattoo artist Carla Bergman witnesses the murder and soon she realises that she was the real target. But why and who is after her?

Faruk Dervishi, the leader of the notorious criminal network the D-Phalanx, is released from prison and finding out that his younger brother Tariq, totally reckless, has taken over the business. A betrayal that can only be paid for with blood.

Twelve-year-old Luka and his little sister fall victim to the gangs’ hunt for child soldiers, and their lives and dreams change forever. He must obey their orders or pay with his life.

New Order is a pulse-pounding thriller about loyalty and betrayal, and about how far a person is really prepared to go for money, redress, and power. A sequel to Anna Karolina’s thriller Seven Figures, from 2017.
