Emil Wern lives in Visby. In his yard there is an old yellow market stand where he has his detective bureau. And Visby really needs a detective bureau, because it is full of suspicious people. Together with his little sister Linda and the pretty stupid dog Molly, Emil solves some really tricky mysteries.
In Illegal Waste something strange happens to Emil’s friend Ubbe. When he is taking the family’s garbage out someone has already filled their garbage can to the limit. Ubbe’s mother gets really angry, because in Visby the garbage collection fee is based on the weight you put in the garbage can. And if they can’t fit their garbage in their can, they have to buy expensive extra bags. Everything costs and Ubbe’s family is short of money. Luckily the detective friend Emil is soon onto something which will lead to three suspects and to say the least a dirty business.
